PLEASE NOTE:
Regarding
Written Exams
- Applicants must have an approvable application (educational documentation, evaluations, fees and transcripts (where applicable) on file. A written request, with the appropriate fees, must be submitted by the deadline. International exam - $75 / Florida Specific - $50.00 / Criminal Justice - $75.00.
- Test times & locations are
Subject To Change/Cancellation. Confirmation letters will be mailed approximately 2 weeks prior to the test. There will be a $25.00 fee for no-shows or canceling within 10 business days or less prior to the test date.
- If you require special accommodations due to a handicap or disability, you must send a written statement documenting your needs, at least
one month in advance of the test.
- Test results will be mailed approximately 4 - 6 weeks after exams.
NO test results will be given over the phone for reasons of confidentiality.
* Two start times are available at the locations indicated above, for applicants wishing to take both the International (ICRC) and Criminal Justice (8:30 – 12:00) and the Florida Specific 1:30 – 5:00) exams on the same day. A lunch break will be given from 12:00 - 1:15.
Florida Specific exam is given in all of the above months.
International (ICRC) exam are only given in March, June, September & December.
Criminal Justice exam is only given in March, June, September & December.
Regarding
Oral Exams
- Applicants
must submit a written request to sit for the Orals which includes
the testing cycle they would like to participate in, to the office
before they are considered eligible for the exam.
- Candidates
must have passed appropriate written exams prior to scheduling
for Oral Exam.
- Written Case
must be approved at a Board Meeting prior to exam.
- For those applicants
eligible for exemption from the Oral Exam (see Addictions
Certification page) you will not be eligible for the International
credential, nor will your state credential be reciprocal with
other states until you have passed the Oral Exam.
- Oral Exam fees
are as follows: First time exam fee is $10, each retest is $50.

There will be two (2) start times at the locations indicated above,
for those individuals who wish to take both the International (ICRC),
Criminal Justice, and state level exams on the same day. The ICRC/CJ
tests will be from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. The state level exam (Florida
Specific) will be from 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. A lunch break will
be from 12:00 - 1:15.
** International (ICRC) and Criminal Justice
exams are only given in March, June, September, & December. Florida
Specific exams are given in all of the above months. International
and Florida Specific exams are available in Spanish and Large Print.
